  • The research went on to reveal 52 per cent of holidaymakers who exercise would book fitness-focused trips, up from 33 per cent last year, with 38 per cent sticking to routines and 24 per cent enjoying fitness as much as relaxing.
  • Parents and providers face 64 per cent prioritising children's engagement and 23 per cent considering their preferences, prompting David Taylor, CEO of Neilson Beach Clubs, to offer diverse activities.
  • Activity data show swimming leads at 50 per cent, while 67 per cent want a break from technology and many view activities as stress-reducing.
