More than 19,000 Children in Romania Have Not Been Vaccinated for Measles, Mumps and Rubella

Between 2024 and 2025, the vaccination coverage rate for some essential vaccines included in the National Vaccination Calendar decreased to a minimum, according to a communication from the Red Cross in Romania. A number of 19,528 children were identified as "resistances" to ROR vaccination (rubella-oreion-rubella), and 694 of them were immunized in the national campaign "Vaccinate hair = protected child", conducted between 20 and 30 April.
