Monsters prevail in shootout over Marlies

Mikael Pyythia, Hunter McKown and Jack Williams converted in the shootout to give the Monsters a 3-2 win over the visiting Marlies on Feb. 3. Down, 2-0, in the third period, the Monsters rallied to tie the game through tallies by Luca Del Bel Belluz at 7:58 and Zach Aston-Reese at 13:48. The Monsters travel to Laval for a weekend doubleheader with the Rocket, the first game a 7 p.m. puck drop Feb. 6.
