Modi Government Strangulating, Emasculating ISRO, Says Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh

- Ramesh expressed uncertainty about the future of the historic Sriharikota spaceport in Andhra Pradesh, questioning why five other living eminent Chairmen have not "speak out on this vital issue."
- Challenging the "new impression" that mission success stems from one individual, Ramesh emphasized the space programme must remain an instrument of development, free from political patronage and interference.
