At airports, "no significant disruption" is expected, according to the Ministry of Transport.
The SNCF foresees normal traffic on TGVs but "some disturbed traffic" on the TERs, as well as on Intercités. RATP does not foresee "no significant impact" of the social movement on the metro, tram and bus network.
The four railway unions voted in favour of a strike on Thursday 2 October. Disruptions are expected on certain lines of the SNCF network (Intercity and regional trains) and in the Paris region (RER and transiliens). The RATP does not foresee any impact on the road traffic.
While interunion calls for a new day of mobilization this Thursday, the first rail traffic forecasts were unveiled this Tuesday.
The intersyndicale planned a new day of strike after that of 18 September, to keep the pressure on Sébastien Lecornu who is working on the 2026 budget.
