A £1 MILLION investment to transform the former Lidl site in Strabane into a major park and ride facility has been welcomed as a significant boost for the town centre and local economy.The scheme, announced by Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins as part of a £3.25 million Local Growth Fund package, will see the derelict Bradley Way site redeveloped to provide between 150 and 170 parking spaces beside Strabane Bus Station.
