- Calling the incident "extremely shocking and unfortunate," Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar assured strict action and pledged to request Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis to expedite the case via a fast-track court.
- Pawar plans to visit the village soon to meet the bereaved family, while Gill confirmed that investigation remains ongoing to ensure stringent punishment for the accused.
