The Minister of Justice refused to comment on Operation Influencer, but left a clear warning: filing or charging are "priority" in any investigation.
Almost three years after the arrests, former Prime Minister António Costa, who was considered a suspect in the trial, still has no access to the indictments.
According to the Express, the Public Prosecutor's Office refused six times requests from António Costa to consult the Influencer Operation process, in which he is considered a suspect, even after, in March 2026, he ceased to be in secret of internal justice.
Rita Alarcão Júdice said that "there must be a decision to file or accuse and that is what seems to me to be a priority"
"There has to be a decision to file or accuse and that's what I think is a priority," Rita Alarcão Judice said.
The Minister of Justice today refused to comment on Operation Influencer's case, but again warned that an investigation "cannot be prolonged indefinitely", being a priority decision of filing or indictment.
