WHO ARE THE ITALIANS WHO DESIGNED THE NEW MAKISMIR?
The new Dinamo stadium should have around 35,000 fully covered seats and meet the criteria of UEFA's fourth, highest category. The competition program foresees numerous additional facilities, including a museum, fan shop and hotel facilities.
VG13 Architects was founded in 2017 by Tommaso Fantini and Alberto Rossi. Their most awarded project is a small concrete warehouse in the Italian wine region, and the new Maksimir will be by far their biggest job yet.
The winning design for the new Maksimir stadium was designed by VG13 Architects Studio Associato, a Milan-based architectural firm led by Tommaso Fantini and Alberto Rossi. Both were born in 1992 and graduated in 2017 from the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland. Fantini later earned his doctorate there, while Rossi worked as an assistant at ETH Zurich....
