The Hungarian National Bank (MNB) is illegally concealing its financial data, the president of the National Data Protection and Freedom of Information Authority has warned, after the central bank refused to release the information to Transparency International. However, Mihály Varga has also spoken out on the matter: as it turned out on Tuesday, he also supports the disclosure of the contracts in question, RTL reported.
Mihály Varga referred to the fact that the Hungarian National Bank had previously interpreted the legislation differently.
