Akshay Kumar (25), a native of Odakunnu, died in a road accident on the national highway near Thamarassery in Kozhikode. The Bullet in which Akshay was travelling was hit by a lorry carrying wood, causing the accident. The footage of the lorry, which did not stop after the accident, was later found on CCTV.
