Michelin, who has been present since 2012, will continue to be the supplier of tyres for the Hypercars, the world Endurance World Championship, until 2032, after winning the call for tenders.
Michelin has announced that the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) have selected him as the exclusive supplier of tyres for the Hypercar category of the FIA World Resistance Championship (FIA WEC) until the end of the 2032 season.This decision, adopted after a tender process convened by the regulators, extends Michelin’s current contract, which was scheduled to last until 2029, by three years.
Michelin announced that it would extend its contract with the WEC to supply the Hypercar category tires until 2032.
