The owner of the E. Leclerc centres admits that he has misanticipated the volatility of the oil markets and assumes that he will not be able to reduce prices at the pump.
Michel-Édouard Leclerc had announced that this decline would take place in two stages, first 23 cents and then seven cents. He came back to his remarks this Thursday, "proclaiming guilty".
