The deal would give Baldwin shareholders a premium as the insurer’s revenue rose 30% and adjusted earnings per share climbed 14%, the company said.
On Sunday, Dell CEO Michael Dell's DFO Management neared a take-private deal for The Baldwin Insurance Group, expected to value the insurance distributor at a premium.

Reporting strong results last July, Baldwin said its total revenue increased 30% year-over-year to $492.9 million, while adjusted diluted earnings per share grew 14%.
Trevor Baldwin, Chief Executive Officer of The Baldwin Group, leads the firm, which would end its public listing on the Nasdaq following the transaction.
Managing the investment assets of Michael Dell and his family, DFO Management engages in a wide variety of asset classes to support long-term business objectives.
