Mexico approved a national regulation prohibiting the use of mobile phones in primary and secondary schools since November 3, 2026. The measure was taken by unanimous decision of 32 entities of the country at the assembly of the National Council of Educational Authorities, said the Mexican president
(Mexico City = Yonhap News) Correspondent Song Gwang-ho = Starting November 3, the use of smartphones will be banned in all elementary and middle schools in Mexico.
Mexico has 34 million students throughout its education system, and the measure is mandatory for primary and secondary education.
