Metsä Group prepares to cut 540 jobs in Finland amid losses

Of the approximately 5,600 jobs offered by Metsä Group in Finland, an estimated 540 jobs are under threat of reduction.
Metsä Group is initiating restructuring negotiations that could result in the loss of 800 jobs, 540 of which are in Finland.
In addition to the change negotiations, Metsä Board is suspending two investments that were in the preliminary planning stage. The negotiations are estimated to result in a maximum of 315 layoffs.
