Methamphetamine found during traffic stop

Two residents of Picayune were arrested during a traffic stop when the passenger attempted to dispose of methamphetamine.   On April 30, deputies from the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office pulled over a Ford on Interstate 59 at 9:15 a.m. James Collier, 66, was identified as the driver, while Clarence Ladner III, 61, was the passenger.
