MetaOptics achieves a progressive milestone in securing design/evaluation orders for its metalenses and modules from world-class customers
MetaOptics said customers are moving into active evaluation, including a European proposal for particle sensing and a South Korean vehicle intelligence kit sale.
On Thursday, April 23, 2026, MetaOptics Ltd announced it secured design and evaluation orders for metalenses and modules from world-class customers across South Korea and Europe.
Following rigorous testing and evaluation, MetaOptics qualified as a direct supplier to a major South Korean consumer electronics company, advancing beyond initial customer interest into active development.
MetaOptics submitted a prototyping proposal to a leading European engineering company for particle sensing solutions, with customised metalenses measuring less than 1mm in diameter using the Group's 12-inch DUV immersion photolithography process.
Separately, the Group's Taiwanese microfab platform is advancing customer prospecting while leadership explores deploying production systems to a separate Asia hub by end-2026 to support regional semiconductor supply chains.
Executive Chairman Thng Chong Kim stated on April 10, 2026, the firm is "ready and committed to execute our growth plans" to accelerate commercialisation, expand international networks, and strengthen its foothold in high-growth sectors.
