Meta launches AI gadget Charm as race for post-smartphone hardware heats up

The Facebook group Meta wants to establish a device in the size of a key chain for access to its AI software. It is called Muse Charm and is to be launched by the end of the year, as Group CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced at the Meta Connect developer conference. The device gets a small display – as well as according to information from the German press agency also microphone, two cameras and Internet connection via 5G data radio.
The CEO of Meta announced a new generation of devices that integrate artificial intelligence, including cameraless Ray-Ban lenses, a virtual reality viewer of just 100 grams and new features for Muse, his personal AI agent.
