MORE than 120 members of the European Parliament are calling on EU leaders to use over €200 billion in frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine, which is facing a €23 billion budget deficit.
122 MEPs supported the initiative by Poland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Spain to use frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine. Eighteen Poles are among the signatories. MEPs want EU leaders to urgently resume talks about the over €200 billion in Russian money frozen in the EU.
