Meghan ‘in talks for role in Netflix series’ while Harry faces court bill
Meghan is in early talks for a possible role in Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series as Harry faces more than £9.5 million in legal costs.
Meghan Markle is reportedly in early-stage talks for a role in the Netflix series The Gentlemen, while Prince Harry faces a £9,544,355 legal bill after losing High Court claims against Associated Newspapers Limited.
Mr Justice Nicklin ordered Harry and six fellow claimants, including Sir Elton John and Baroness Doreen Lawrence, to pay the sum within seven days as total costs for Associated Newspapers Limited exceed £34 million.
Matthew Kain, chief executive at Kain Knight, noted claimants possess an 'after the event' insurance policy covering £16 million, though they remain personally liable for potentially many millions more.
Prime Minister Andy Burnham declined to comment on security arrangements for the couple's move, stating that funding is a 'private matter' amid ongoing Home Office reviews of Harry's protection.
