A total of 32 people were arrested on Friday, May 1, during a comprehensive multiagency anti-drug operation in Otero County, local authorities reported. The operation, called “Operation Desert Sweep”, was led by the White Mountain Drug Task Force in coordination with the Otero County Sheriff’s Office and the Alamogordo Police Department, along with federal, state and tribal agencies.
