Meet Kaya, Pawtucket's new police K-9
PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — A four-legged employee is joining the Pawtucket Police Department. Kaya, a 2-year-old German Short Haired Pointer, just finished a rigorous training course and is now certified in explosive and firearm detection. The department said her keen nose and sharp instincts make her a valuable addition to their K-9 Unit.
