According to a decree published in the Official Gazette this Saturday, the medical allowances will increase to 140 euros per year on 1 October. After first announcing a doubling of this amount not reimbursed by the Health Insurance, the executive had retropedaled.
If the government does not double this franchise, it will still increase as of October 1.
Set at 100 euros since 2005, it will also be revalued annually from 2028 on the basis of inflation.
The annual ceiling for medical allowances, which remain the responsibility of the insured, will increase from 100 euros to 140 euros on 1 October, according to a decree published Saturday in the Official Gazette.
The annual ceiling of the medical allowances paid by the social insured on each box of medicines, paramedical act, health transport, and medical consultation increases to 140 euros on 1 October next.
