The Kane County Health Department on Monday announced a positive case of measles in the county.

Local person with measles is Kaneland High student; exposure in building Aug. 18

The Kaneland School District 302 notified parents that a student at Kaneland High School in Maple Park tested positive for measles. It is only the third case in Kane County in the past 25 years. The high school is having an e-Learning day on Aug. 25.
