MAYFIELD, Ky., (KBSI) — The City of Mayfield is inviting the public to attend a ceremonial tree planting May 15 at the Mayfield Farmers Market. Officials said the Laurel Oak Garden Club of Mayfield will plant a tulip poplar, Kentucky’s state tree, in recognition of the 250th anniversary of the United States.
