May 7 is the 75th annual National Day of Prayer

May 7 is the 75th National Day of Prayer across the United States. The Cannon Falls community has been participating in this event since 2000. This is the 27th year for the event locally.

National Day of Prayer May 7

Every year, on the first Thursday of May (May 7, 2026), we come together for the National Day of Prayer, a time for all Americans to pray for our country. This year, we’re kicking things off at the Hereford Civic Center at 6:30 a.m. with breakfast and a program that celebrates the 2026 theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.”
