Also in 2027 Max Verstappen does not want to focus exclusively on Formula 1. The Red-Bull-Star is once again planning a detour into long-distance sports and has a focus on the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
The tetra-champion of Formula 1 decided which endurance races he will participate in next year.
Formula 1 published last week its calendar for 2027, with at least 24 Grand Awards, but on this occasion neither the 24 Hours of Le Mans (France), nor the 24 Hours of Nürburgring (Germany) nor the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) will be held on a competition weekend at F1. Max Verstappen will not play the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2027, but the quadruple F1 World Champion may well align with two other endurance events compatible with the Formula 1 calendar.
