TURIN – Following the rejection of the mediation proposal made by the Italian Bishops' Conference (CEI) and the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, and following an appeal from President Sergio Mattarella, ten Italian activists have left the Global Sumud Flotilla. Among them is the spokesperson for the Italian delegation, Maria Elena Delia, from Turin, who returned to Italy on Friday.
