Ty Masterson’s campaign confirmed he will take a leave of absence from what former fellow Republican gubernatorial candidate Philip Sarnecki described as a “no-show job” at GoCreate.

Wichita State unwilling to provide information regarding Ty Masterson’s leave of absence

Following his win in the gubernatorial primary election, Ty Masterson is taking a leave of absence from his role as director of GoCreate, a creative community at Wichita State University that was funded by Koch Industries and the Fred and Mary Koch Foundation.  The leave is unpaid, but Masterson will be compensated for unused vacation time, according to Masterson’s spokesperson, Garett Henson.  The Sunflower reached out via email to Lainie Mazzu…
