His advice follows a viewer's case where British Airways flights to Bangkok cost £4,200 but later became available for around £3,300, illustrating the unpredictability.
While early booking secures a seat, Martin notes prices can fluctuate wildly; they could rise to £12,000 or fall unpredictably based on demand and availability.
Ski Vertigo experts advise booking with flexible cancellation options, which costs slightly more upfront but lets travellers rebook at lower rates if prices drop.
Speaking on This Morning, Martin offered one final piece of advice: "If you're in that situation, got a flight at the price that you can afford, is don't check again.
