The U.S. diplomatic chief visits Ecuador to strengthen security cooperation, amid operations against criminal gangs. Bilateral relations are intensified with joint actions, including bombing suspicious vessels and modernization of treaties.
With the message “United States meets”, the Secretary of the United States, Marco Rubio, started in Colombia his tour of Latin America, with an agenda that will continue this Wednesday in Quito (Ecuador) and Thursday in Lima (Peru), with which he hopes to strengthen the fight against organized crime and promote investments.
