Bezzecchi Defends Start After Marquez Passes Him Again in Misano Sprint

- Marquez secured the victory after switching to a medium rear tire, while Bezzecchi opted for the soft compound. "Immediately when I started, the plan was to try to lead the race," Marquez said.
- Championship leader Jorge Martin finished third, moving up to the final podium spot on lap seven. Martin crossed the line 2.470s behind Bezzecchi, stating "I'm really happy with the job of the team."
- Following his sixth sprint win, Marquez sits 14 points behind Martin in the championship standings. Bezzecchi remains 22 points off the top spot after his best sprint result of the season.
- Focus now shifts to the main MotoGP event on Sunday. Marquez emphasized the bigger picture, noting "the most important is tomorrow" despite his sprint success and need to manage risk.
