The husband of an Ocean County school superintendent was simply “blowing off steam” when he wrote the names of two school officials on bullets in his gun, his attorney said.Lucas P. McCooley, 44, the husband of the Pinelands Regional schools superintendent, threatened to kill Troy Henderson, principal of Pinelands Regional High School, and August Daleo, president of the district’s board of education, police said.
