Police investigating homicide in Southaven

SOUTTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC) – Southaven police are investigating a homicide that happened Tuesday afternoon. Police were called to the scene of a shooting at Sherwood Lane and Woodleaf Cove. One man was found dead at the scene. Police say one person is in custody. That person has been identified as 20-year-old Decoriun Veasley. There’s no word on what led up to the shooting.
