VERO BEACH — Detectives continue to investigate a weekend incident where an unidentified man lay down on the railroad tracks and was struck by a Brightline train, police reports show. The incident happened shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday, June 21 in the area of the 16th Street Railroad Crossing, west of U.S. 1 in Vero Beach.
