Man killed, woman injured when gunfire erupts in South Philly, police say

A shooting around lunchtime in South Philadelphia has left one man dead and a woman hospitalized, officials said. According to police, officers responded to the 1900 block of South 21st Street in South Philly at about 12:10 p.m. on Sunday to find two people, a man and a woman, suffering from gunshot wounds.
