GARY, Ind. — A man was shot and killed Wednesday night by Gary police following a call for domestic battery. Officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Connecticut Street at around 8:40 p.m. after a domestic battery 911 call involving a 24-year-old man and a 57-year-old man.
