Man Killed by Train in Montreal While Working on Tracks

A man is dead after being struck by a train in Montreal's Ville-Marie borough. The fatal collision occurred around 3 a.m. close to the Jacques-Cartier bridge, near the intersection of Notre-Dame Street and De Lorimier Avenue. "According to initial reports, the victim was a railroad employee who was working on the tracks when the train began moving," said Montreal Police spokesperson Const. Manuel Couture.
