A man was killed early Sunday after being struck by a police vehicle on the N31 near Leeuwarden, authorities and local media reported.According to the Leeuwarder Courant, the fatal incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. Sunday on the N31 and involved a police car from the Noord-Nederland police unit, according to the officers. The man died at the scene.
