Man dies after assault in north Dublin city

A man in his 50s died at the scene on Foster Terrace, Ballybough; two women in their 60s were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, Gardaí said.

  • Two women in their 60s were taken to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and Cllr Ray McAdam, Fine Gael lord mayor of Dublin, urged anyone with information to contact Gardaí.
  • Investigating Gardaí appealed for witnesses and mobile phone and dash-cam footage from about 1am–1.30am and asked people to contact Mountjoy Garda Station on 666 8600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or Store Street Garda Station on 01 6668000.
