According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, during the September 2025 session of the Brown County Grand Jury, 17 true bills were returned against 14 persons. Among those indicted were Cody Louis Kille for attempted aggravated kidnapping, as in July of this year he triggered an Amber Alert and was found with a 15-year-old Brownwood girl near Texarkana.
