Mammoth Sign Tourigny and Forsythe to Extensions and Hire Former Coyotes Coach Foote as Assistant
The Mammoth also gave multi-year extensions to André Tourigny and Blaine Forsythe after finishing 43-33-6 and reaching the playoffs.
On Monday, the Utah Mammoth announced multi-year contract extensions for head coach André Tourigny and assistant Blaine Forsythe, while hiring Adam Foote as an assistant coach on a multi-year deal.
Tourigny led the Mammoth to the playoffs during the 2025-26 season with a 43-33-6 record, joining the rare group of NHL coaches who improved win totals in each of their first five seasons.
Mammoth general manager Bill Armstrong said the organization is "thrilled to have Adam, a two-time Stanley Cup champion and 2002 Olympic gold medalist" join the staff to bring a fresh perspective backed by experience.
Foote will work with defensemen while Forsythe oversees the power play, which fell to 18th in the league last season; the penalty kill finished 19th, offering room for improvement.
Assistant coach Mario Duhamel remains under contract with the organization, though the team is working to determine his specific role behind the bench for the upcoming season.
