14 Tornadoes Reported Across Mississippi as Powerful Storms Ravage Hundreds of Homes, Knock Out Power

Tornadoes flattened the Wash Mobile Home Park in Bogue Chitto and destroyed a trailer park off Highway 51 in Lincoln County, where 22 to 23 trailers were completely destroyed.
Governor Tate Reeves is currently coordinating state search and rescue efforts as the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency reported 815 homes impacted in Franklin and Lincoln counties.
Severe storms are expected to continue across the Southeast overnight, bringing threats of damaging wind gusts and flash flooding as dangerous conditions slow response efforts to reach trapped residents.
