Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who has published a book about his 20-day stint in prison, was signing copies of it today in the city of Menton, where he met with his son Louis, a candidate for mayor of the town, Le Figaro reported.
The former President of the Republic went to Menton on Friday to have his book signed, a way to give his support and fame to his son, Louis Sarkozy, a candidate for the upcoming municipal elections.
On the occasion of the release of his book, written during his detention in prison, the former Head of State is on tour for signing sessions. He visited the Alpes-Maritimes on Friday 12 December, especially in Menton, where his son Louis is a candidate in the municipal elections.
