Lord of the Dance: Show 'will go on' as Flatley obtains emergency injunction
- Michael Flatley obtained an emergency injunction at Belfast High Court to prevent interference with the Dublin show scheduled for Thursday.
- Switzer Consulting Ltd sued, alleging Flatley breached a July 2024 service agreement and claimed ownership of the show, after cancelling the performance at the 3Arena, Dublin.
- With 268 performances booked across Europe and North America, court filings show Flatley received nearly 430,000 in royalties and lodged 500,000 euros in a solicitor's account.
- Mr Justice Simpson agreed an interim order allowing further submissions from Switzer's legal representatives, and the case will resume on Wednesday morning.
- A former financial adviser alleged Flatley has lived a Monaco millionaire lifestyle since 2019 without funds, and concerns include nearly $3m in repayments and Switzer's net assets of just over 2m.
