Longfellow students paint teachers, mayor as reward for raising more than $17K

MITCHELL — Longfellow Elementary students had an extra art class on Thursday. Students used watercolor paints to spray teachers and Mitchell Mayor Jordan Hanson as a reward after raising $17,212 in the annual Longfellow raffle ticket sales fundraiser.
