Loïc Meillard is in the lead at the end of the first round of the Val d'Isère slalom. Twenty-four hours after his giant success, the Valaisan scored the best time on the first run in front of Norwegians Timon Haugan (0"05) and Atle Lie McGrath (0"14). Second best Swiss rider, Daniel Yule is 15th. The second round is to be followed by 12:50 on RTS 2.
