Logos coming down as BC Place's FIFA makeover has begun

There’s a lot of work going on at BC Place right now. Walk around the stadium, and you’ll see and hear multiple construction crews at work. They’re getting it ready for the FIFA World Cup, ahead of Vancouver’s first match in less than six weeks’ time. The most jarring change, given recent events, is the removal of Vancouver Whitecaps logos. BC Lions logos are being removed, too, as will any imagery that isn’t owned by FIFA or its partners. Next …
