During his first season at Liverpool, the 26-year-old managed 1,032 minutes over 22 appearances while recovering from a leg break lasting December to April.
Playing for Sweden at the World Cup, Isak scored once and provided three assists before France eliminated the team in the last 32.
With three Premier League goals in four games this season, Isak told BBC Sport he feels "optimistic and excited" about the future.
